Thousand
dots dyeing
It is one of the most recent techniques. It is a procedure patented
in 2003 to obtain a dyeing effect by dyeing the fabric with thousands
of dots coloured in the primary colours. The various quantities
of these colours determine the tone of the final effect. The fabric,
so treated, appears like a plain–watered fabric which seen
in close-up highlights the “patterned effect” of the
coloured dots.
